ALL MARES: The Client agrees to pay a non-refundable Booking Fee of $100 to Wildwynn Ponies with this Contract, and a Breeding Fee of $700 for shipped semen, or $550 for Live Cover. 2. FOR LIVE COVER MARES ONLY: The Client represents and warrants that the Mare to be bred is halter broken, healthy, and in sound breeding condition. If registered, a photocopy of the Mare's papers, showing both sides, must be furnished and returned with this Contract as one of the requirements. 3. FOR LIVE COVER MARES ONLY: The Client agrees to have the Mare current on worming and vaccinations before delivering the Mare to Wildwynn Ponies. ALL incoming horses/ponies must have a current (within one year) negative Coggins test. All mares coming to be bred via Live Cover must have a negative Uterine Culture. Enclose copies of these documents. All mares coming to be bred via Live Cover must have hind shoes removed. 4. FOR LIVE COVER MARES ONLY: The Mare will be delivered to and left at Wildwynn Ponies until mare is finished being bred, or returned as many times as necessary during the season. All reasonable efforts will be made to settle the mare when present at Wildwynn Ponies. 5. FOR LIVE COVER MARES ONLY: The board fees at Wildwynn Ponies will be $10.00 per day for dry mares. We do not accept mares with foals-at-foot for live cover. For mares with foals-at-foot, contact Dr. Bob Rednour's office at 919-554-1176 for information regarding using fresh AI services. All board fees, veterinary, and shoeing expenses will be billed and due monthly upon receipt. 6. FOR LIVE COVER MARES ONLY: Natural (Live Cover) will be used in breeding the Client's Mare at Wildwynn Ponies. Wildwynn Ponies reserves the right to refuse to breed any mare deemed unfit or dangerous to personnel or the stallion. All problems that occur will be brought to the owner's attention. 7. FOR LIVE COVER MARES ONLY:Wildwynn Ponies may exercise its own judgment in caring for and supervising the Mare. Wildwynn Ponies' veterinarian may perform at their absolute discretion such veterinarian services, as they deem necessary or appropriate at the Client's expense. These include, but are not limited to, worming, treating for infections, disease or accident-related conditions, preventative measures, examinations and artificial insemination. Unless an emergency, the mare owner will be notified prior to any fees being incurred. 8. FOR LIVE COVER MARES ONLY: Wildwynn Ponies and any other parties involved shall be held harmless of liability for any loss from fire or theft, sickness, disease, injury, death, or other harm suffered by the Mare and/or foal. Likewise, the Client assumes no liability for injury, sickness, or death of the stallion, personnel, or employees caused by the Mare and/or foal. 9. FOR ALL MARES: If the Mare does not settle or does not produce a "live foal" (one that stands and nurses), The Client shall be entitled to return the Mare, or a substitute Mare, for breeding the following year, on the terms and conditions provided in this Contract, upon payment of that year's Booking Fee, board, and other expenses, but without payment of any further Breeding Fee. This obligation by Wildwynn Ponies to re-breed will apply only if the Client notifies Wildwynn Ponies in writing within seven (7) days from the birth of a stillborn foal or within thirty (60) days of a miscarriage. A statement must accompany this notice from a licensed veterinarian verifying such facts. It is agreed that this provision will be of no further effect if the Mare is taken to any other stallion before returning to Wynnbrook Starburst. 10. FOR ALL MARES: If Wynnbrook Starburst should die, sold or become unfit for service before the Mare conceives, Wildwynn Ponies shall refund the Breeding Fee to the Client within 60 days. Under no circumstances other than stated in #6 and #10 shall the Breeding Fee be refunded. 11. FOR ALL MARES: A Breeder's Certificate will be issued to the Client for a foal when the mare is picked up from Wildwynn Ponies and/or all fees and expenses have been paid in full. 12. FOR ALL MARES: The Client hereby grants Wildwynn Ponies a lien upon the Mare and any foal for any unpaid Breeding Fees, mare care charges, board fees, veterinarian charges, or any other charges. 13. FOR ALL MARES: The Client certifies that he/she is the legal owner of the Mare or has full authority to enter into this Contract on behalf of the owner(s). 14. FOR ALL MARES: When Wildwynn Ponies, by its authorized representative, receives this Contract, it will become the binding contract of both parties. This contract is not transferable or assignable without permission. This Contract is executed in the State of North Carolina 15. FOR ALL MARES: Payment is expected before shipping semen, or breeding live cover. If paying by personal check or money order: make checks payable to Wildwynn Ponies.For 16. FOR SHIPPED SEMEN CLIENTS ONLY: Keep me informed as to the cycle of your mare. Call 919-494-1101 prior to 12noon EST to order your shipment. Leave a message, I will call you back to confirm that I received the order. Semen will be collected on the same day and shipped overnight. You will receive your semen order by 10am the next day. This method assures you the freshest semen available. We collect between 3-4pm on the same day you call for semen. Monday through Friday collections are preferred, Saturday collections are possible with payment of $100 extra. Please plan ahead to avoid weekend collections. Equitainers are available for rent at $45 for a full 7-day rental. Shipped semen rates include the first collection charges, equitainer rental is extra. Further collections will be charged at $200 per occurance. 17 FOR MARES USING A.I. WITH FRESH SEMEN, BEING BOARDED AT DR. BOB REDNOUR'S CLINIC: Our policy has been altered to give you better service. Stallion service fee
+ booking will be $650. Mare owner will be responsible for all collection
fees, vet fees, boarding etc that are incurred. Travel expenses for the
first attempt is included with the stallion service fee. If more collections
are needed, we charge $50 per occurrance for travel expenses to and from
the clinic for collection.
