Congratulations to the following people on the success of their Wynnbrook Starburst offspring:
Congratulations to Virginia Reilly on the sale of "Elliot".  Ginny had the for-sight back in 2000 to breed her nice Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred mare "Callie" to Wynnbrook Starburst hoping for a nice large pony for her daughter to raise, train and show.  Ginny got more than she ever hoped for!  Elliot sold in early 2007 for an undisclosed amount in excess of $50 grand!
Congratulations are due Harmony Ridge Farm located in Maryland.  Racheal Agee and Sue Chambers purchased a homebred gelding named Wildwynn Taylor Made back in September 2006.  Under gentle guidance, this gelding was trained and offered at public auction at the American Pony Hunter Classic Sale in August 2007.  One lucky, and determined, buyer purchased Taylor for a whopping $30,500 as a three year old!  Way to go Harmony Ridge!
As the breeder of Wildwynn Pocket Rocket, I am particularly proud of how this colt turned out!  Such a fabulous mover, without a doubt, one of Wynnbrook Starburst's best!  Out of the good mare: Lane's Snow Queen.  Rocket was purchased as a yearling for $6000 by Harmony Ridge Farm as their next investment pony.  Watch for Rocket in the upcoming year in-hand and then onto bigger and better things in 2009!
Congratulations to Karyn Becerra of Ironhorse Farms in Zebulon, NC and to Suzanne Mullen for the recent sale of Gideon's Fire.  Gideon is a six year old gelding son of Wynnbrook Starburst that is the very first North American FEI Pony Champion!  He was sold for $30,000 and is continuing his education with his new owner in Maryland.
Juan Pablo, owned by Double K Farms, was shown to a Grand Championship in Half-Welsh In-Hand AND he garnered his first Championship in the Half-Welsh Performance Division at the Carolina Welsh Club's first Schooling show of 2008!
Wildwynn Cameo, a 1998 half welsh mare sired by Wynnbrook Starburst out of the fine show mare: Miss Padre was awarded the Grand Championship at the Carolina Welsh Club's Double Gold rated WPCSA annual show at the Carolina Horse Park in the fall of 2008.  This was Cameo's debut into the Welsh show world, though she has been shown to many nice ribbons in-hand and in perofrmance in USDF and USEF shows in the past.
